Tri-College Consortium : ウィキペディア英語版 | Tri-College Consortium The Tri-College Consortium consists of three private liberal arts colleges in the Philadelphia suburbs: Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, and Swarthmore College. The consortium allows students to cross register for courses at the other colleges. Bryn Mawr and Haverford enjoy an especially close relationship. The two schools share a student newspaper and radio station, and they have a fairly integrated student life. Also, there is a bus that transports students from campus to campus. The purpose of a consortium is to provide the specialization, flexibility and personal attention commonly found in a small college, with the resources of a larger university. Other consortia include the Claremont Colleges in California, Five College Consortium in the Amherst, Massachusetts area, and the Quaker Consortium, which joins the Tri-College with the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. ==References==
